The piece explores the human condition and translates their stories into gestures, emotions and movements, creating a new language to express these women’s thoughts, desires, emotions and hopes. It is based on and inspired by stories of Latina immigrant women. Bird Woman is a multimedia performance by Carla Forte that fuses dance, film, original music and sound installation.
